2009 will be some year. The LCFL West will undergo some renovation. We are looking for some quality owners that understand what it means to do business. Many are called, but few are chosen.
2009 LCFL West Expansion Symposium
The LaBelle Community Football League, L.C.F.L., has confirmed a site for our 2009 West Division Expansion Symposium. The location will be the Courtyard by Marriott LAX. It is anticipated that this location will be convenient for all travelers to this event, as the Marriot is the LCFL West Sponsor Hotel.

Time: 1:00 pm
At this full disclosure meeting, LCFL Administration, and personnel will answer ALL questions, and every owner, or decision maker in attendance will have a FULL understanding of the LCFL’s Business model. Be advised that because of space constrictions ONLY qualified Owners, and/or decision makers need be present. This will not be a forum for grandstanding, but the enlightenment of the football world to the LCFL. Attendance at this symposium is the first step, and a Necessary component in the process to be qualified for LCFL West Membership.
As this is an expansion meeting, we ask that all interested teams come prepared to do business. The LCFL has an application requiring a $1000 application fee. This fee is Refundable if you are not accepted, but offset in initial fees upon acceptance to the league. There is a staff background check. Additionally we require that you bring your Mini Business Proposal, detailing your preparation, and commitment to the playing football in 2009, and beyond. Below are some guidelines, that will help with your preparation.
Guidelines for Mini Plan
1) Why are you doing this? What are your goals?
2) All Principals, Contacts, Coaching Staff, and support Staff
3) Year/Years in business, and status of business, i.e. Non Profit, Sole proprietor,
etc.
4) Team Name, Logos and Colors
5) Status of Uniforms, and gear
6) Secured field for Practice, and Home Games (With verifiable documentation)
We will be Calling
7) Insurance: Third Party, or Player
8) Functional Website. Updated weekly by team.
9) Action Plan for Community Outreach
10) Marketing, and Sponsorship
11) League Travel. Buses, carpooling, etc.
12) Team Finance. Other than Team Fees, how will your team be supported
financially?
13) What value would the LCFL gain by your team becoming a member?
Most of this information seems like much, but it will help weed out those who are not serious, and give the LCFL a more accurate picture of the Quality of your organization. We have many invited guest coming from a Long Distance. Please be considerate, and be on time. Please RSVP by January 2nd, 2009 as to your intensions at coachclay@sbcglobal.net .
