Word is that about 8 teams from the '08 LCFL season, will be leaving to the UFA. You wouldnt be surprised at some of the teams that are leaving as they would be better suited for the competition in that legaue but some of the teams mentioned include a team from this seasons LCFL final four.
Whether that is true or not, I dont know but that is the selling point that the comissioner is using is his recruitment of organizations to join his league. He also mentioned that their league would consist of two seasons, a spring and fall league.
Since people like to keep it 100 on here, lets see who confirms they are leaving or who will deny it only to be in the UFA next season.
Word from commisioner of the UFA is that the.....
Bakersfield Panthers
Maddogs
Dolphins
Mercury
Scorpions
are some of the teams that will be joining his league next year. The LCFL final four team that he claims will be joining his league is the Thunder. He is using their name as a selling point on recruiting teams to come over.

THIS CRAP IS FUNNY AS HELL.. LET ME SET SOME FACTS.. SOME TEAMS ARE GETTING KICKED OUT OF THE LCFL BECAUSE THE LEAGUE IS SETTING UP PRINCIPLES.. TEAMS HAVE TO BE MORE ORGANIZED, PROPER ATTIRE ( NICE UNIFORMS), DISCIPLINE, AND BE VERY COMPETITIVE. THIS IS THE TRUTH SO IF THOSE TEAMS HAPPEN TO BE JOINING THE U.F.A THEN THATS FINE BECAUSE MOST OF THEM WENT 0-11 ANYWAY. WELL AT LEAST 4-5 OF THOSE TEAMS DID.. SOME TEAMS LIKE THE FOOTHILL FIREHAWKS, VEGAS KINGS, COUNTY JAGUARS, SAN DIEGO STALLIONS AND THUNDER HAVE MADE THE LCFL LOOK INTO HAVING NICE UNIFORMS LIKE THOSE TEAMS I JUST NAMED..

REAL TALK. WHO CARES IF TEAMS JUMP FROM A GOOD LEAGUE TO A BAD ONE. MAYBE THATS THE KIND OF LEAGUE THEY BELONG IN. THE UFA IS GARBAGE AND MOST OF THE TEAMS IN IT ARE GARBAGE TOO. CALL THAT SHIT SEMI-CITY LEAGUE NOT SEMI-PRO. PROS DONT ASK PEOPLE THAT COME TO WATCH GAMES TO HOLD THE DOWN MARKERS.

ill believe it when i see it. i don't know much about this league. but from the player reviews it seems to be struggling alot. i play for the dawgpound. and i don't see them leaving the LCFL. it hasn't even been mentioned to anyone. So id remove the maddogs from that list. as for teams leaving for financial reasons. if you don't have enough money to run a team. you shouldn't, if you cant pay a $3000 league fee. then you shouldn't run a team. that only means in the long run. you really cant afford to run a team if you cant fork out the money. and your trying to save every nickle and dime, you can just to stay afloat. isn't that what team fees are for? to pay for those league fees.
and i doubt the thunder will join this league. only due to the fact that. they are the LCFL west champs. from what i heard they get $5000 handed to them for being the champs. so i don't think money is an issue. remember. don't count your chickens before they hatch!

This just in from Ray the Owner of the Stallions First I want to say congradulations to the Thunder for doing there thing. Holding it down and staying together through adversity and representing San Diego. Good luck the rest of the way. With that said.
I just want to clear something up. The Stallions are not going to any other league. Why would we. I'm just going to put this out there so I'm pretty sure that I'll get some not so good comments. Any team that decides to leave the LCFL I wish them all the best of luck. As an owner I try to run my organization the best I can and do what I can for my players. But if anybody or any other owner is looking to make alot of money for what we do I don't see that happening. Alot of these teams have been around for some time such as the Mercury, Dolphins and so forth and I have respect for all those teams. Some teams fold for lack of funds or other personal reasons. But why is it an everyday complaint session if you don't want to be somewhere than just leave. I feel there is no need to down talk one league or the other. If your not willing to help fix the problem then with much respect find a more suitable place for your organization. Don't get me wrong some
complaints are legit. But to be honest when I see what goes on I feel that some coach's and Owners in my opinion are worse than the players. Then again my opinion doesn't mean squat. I also believe that what goes on in an organization is a reflection of your owner that is why some teams fold or players quit because there team can't compete in this league or their not willing to travel because its to far. This is my opinion. But for those that want to leave the LCFL and join another league just be cautious the grass isn't always greener on the other side and again my opinion doesn't mean squat. But for the most part some teams don't have a field, they will come with 20 players or less, forfeit games. Teams with different color helmets, No socks, No logos on the helmets. That's just the little stuff to mention. You will have a couple of strong teams that will run through the league and then what. You think those weeker teams want to get blown out week in
and week out, I doubt that. Then what will you have (SWFL) all over. I apologize for this and pray that no team takes offense to this. I agree that the LCFL needs to set standards. But with any league the cancer needs to be dealt with. When your a league trying to make a name for yourself or a team trying to stand out it would be great if the majority of the owners would put forth the effort to make this league or any league worth being apart of. Gentlemen since our acceptance into the league I have been to every LCFL meeting and to be honest they are really trying to get us out there. I believe they will do what ever is necessary to make the LCFL thrive. Guys understand that some teams leave because they feel they have a better chance of competing in a less competitive league again I wish those teams the best of luck. But if you have a chip on your shoulder or its more of a pride issue that will cause you to pull your team and take them elsewhere then
that's what they call an individual. I guess I could of folded up shop two years ago when we lost to the Thunder two shut outs ago. Trojans twice the Sharks, Compton Jaguars, Inglewood BlackHawks to name a few but we're still here. Its easy to say I quit or fold a team. You men as players need to understand football doesn't need you. Of course players don't want to pay to play but whether you do or don't football will always be there when your not. Tony Reid said it the best "if you want to win you have to recruit better and run your organization as a business".

You are hearing it straight from the horses mouth, we the Trojans have found a home, and there is no way we will vacate!!
We are fishing for now, but we have done our scouting, and come off season we are going to be recruiting for every position heavily! and we have NO plans to go elsewhere!!!
